JustCall — US sales dialler and contact centre platform with South African numbers on request
JustCall is a cloud phone, dialler and contact centre platform run by SaaS Labs US, Inc. from San Francisco. Its strengths are outbound selling: power, dynamic and predictive dialling, SMS and WhatsApp follow-ups, call scoring and CRM logging, with an AI voice agent that can answer or place calls. Its coverage table lists South African local, national, mobile and toll-free numbers and number porting. The catch for a local buyer is price: US dollar list prices are published for the US region, but with South Africa selected every plan shows “Custom Pricing”, so a quote is the only way to know the Rand cost.
Key facts
| Who they are | SaaS Labs US, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 355 Bryant Street, San Francisco, whose site footer dates JustCall from 2016. Contact is a US sales line and [email protected]; the site lists no South African office or +27 number |
| What it does | Cloud calling for sales and support teams: IVR and call menus, intelligent routing and queue callback, power and dynamic dialling, a predictive dialler of up to 10 lines on SalesPro, SMS and WhatsApp inboxes, call recording and transcription, AI call scoring and real-time agent assist, and 100+ CRM and helpdesk integrations including HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Zoho |
| Pricing for South Africa | With South Africa chosen as the call and SMS region on justcall.io/pricing, Team, Pro, Pro Plus and Business all show “Custom Pricing” and a “Talk to Us” button (checked 3 November 2026). Included credits listed for that region: unlimited outbound and inbound minutes and AI transcription, under a fair usage policy |
| US list prices | For comparison only, the US region shows Team $29, Pro $49 and Pro Plus $89 per user per month billed annually, or $39, $69 and $109 billed monthly, with a minimum of 2 licences; Business needs at least 10 licences and is quoted |
| South African numbers | The country coverage table marks South African local, national, mobile and toll-free numbers as available, and number porting too; SMS on mobile numbers is by request. Each account includes two numbers, and more are bought in the app |
| Fair usage | Included calling covers mobile and landline calls within the chosen region and inbound calls on cheap routes; toll-free, premium-rate and shared-cost numbers, international calls and call forwarding are excluded and billed as usage |
| AI voice agent | An add-on for inbound and outbound calls: the first 100 minutes are free, volume rates go down to $0.15 a minute, it speaks 14 languages and switches mid-call, books meetings, sends texts and transfers to a person |
| Contract | Monthly or annual plans that renew for the same term unless you give notice at least 30 days before the end (45 days on an order form). Removing a licence or number mid-cycle earns no refund, usage is billed on top of the plan with each call rounded up to the next full minute, and the terms fall under Delaware law |
| Emergency calls | Not supported at all: JustCall’s terms say emergency calls must go through your local phone service, so keep a landline or mobile for 10111 and 112 |
| ICASA licence | No South African licence is published. Numbers are supplied through carrier partners, so ask which South African carrier will hold your numbers before you port them |

JustCall suits dialling-heavy sales teams, but a South African buyer starts without a price
Most of JustCall’s product is aimed at teams that make a lot of calls: multi-line dialling, local presence numbers, reattempt rules, SMS follow-ups and coaching from scored calls. That makes it a real option for a South African call centre doing lead follow-up or appointment-setting outreach, and the coverage table says it can issue and port +27 numbers. What it does not do is show a South African price. The dollar figures on its pricing page belong to the US region, and selecting South Africa turns every plan into a custom quote, so budget on the quote, not the headline $29. Ask that quote to state the per-minute usage rates for local landlines and mobiles, because JustCall rounds every call up to the full minute, and confirm the non-renewal notice date on an annual plan. Keep a local line for emergency calls, which the service does not carry.

What is JustCall?
JustCall is a cloud phone and contact centre platform from SaaS Labs US, Inc. in San Francisco. Agents call, text and use WhatsApp from a browser or mobile app, with dialling automation, IVR, routing, recording, AI call scoring and CRM integrations, plus an optional AI voice agent.
How much does JustCall cost in South Africa?
JustCall does not publish a South African price. With South Africa selected on its pricing page on 3 November 2026, every plan showed “Custom Pricing”. The $29 to $89 per user per month figures on the same page apply to the US region, so treat them as a reference only and ask JustCall for a quote in writing. Compare published prices or get up to 3 quotes.
Can JustCall give me a South African number?
Its country coverage table lists South African local, national, mobile and toll-free numbers as available, and you can port existing numbers. SMS on South African mobile numbers is available on request. Each account includes two numbers; extra numbers are bought in the platform.
How are JustCall calls billed?
Plans include calling within your chosen region under a fair usage policy. Anything outside it, such as international calls, toll-free or premium numbers and call forwarding, is billed as usage, and JustCall’s terms round each call up to the next full minute.
How do I cancel JustCall?
Plans renew automatically for the same term, so send notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the term ends (45 days if you signed an order form). Removing users mid-cycle does not earn a refund, and if you are moving provider, port your numbers before the account closes.
Does JustCall have an AI voice agent?
Yes, as an add-on. It answers and places calls in 14 languages, books meetings, sends texts and hands calls to a person. JustCall lists the first 100 minutes free and volume rates down to $0.15 a minute. The AI voice agent comparison covers stand-alone AI receptionists.
How does JustCall compare with South African call centre providers?
JustCall is strong on outbound dialling, messaging and CRM workflows. Local providers usually win on published Rand pricing, emergency calling, South African support hours and an ICASA licence you can check. The call centre comparison scores local providers side by side.
