This Privacy Policy explains how Telecoms Media Group (Pty) Ltd T/A WhichVoIP.co.za (“WhichVoIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website at whichvoip.co.za (the “Site”). WhichVoIP is a South African telecoms comparison platform. We do not operate a mobile application.

When you submit a quote request form on our Site, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and details about the telecoms services you are looking for. This information is used to connect you with relevant telecoms providers who can supply you with quotes.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL, and general geographic location (country/region level, not precise GPS). We do not collect precise geolocation data.

Google Analytics 4 — We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-J4L94E7H5Y) via Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our Site, including which pages are most popular, how users navigate the Site, and where traffic originates. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_J4L94E7H5Y to distinguish unique users and sessions. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
Facebook Pixel (Meta) — We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and to deliver relevant ads to people who have visited our Site. Telecoms providers: When you submit a quote request, we share your contact details and requirements with up to three telecoms providers who can offer you relevant quotes. These providers will contact you directly. We select providers based on your stated requirements and our directory of verified providers.
Third-party service providers: We use third-party services as described in Section 2 above (Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn) for analytics and advertising purposes. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a South African authority.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Quote request data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with our legal obligations. Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention periods of the respective platforms (Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn).
