A Milnerton, Cape Town company trading since 2013 that sells hosted PBX, an omni-channel contact centre and Microsoft Teams Direct Routing together with the business fibre, licensed microwave and 5G failover it runs on – one supplier for voice and connectivity, serving 1,200-plus businesses.
Innovo is unusual among smaller South African providers in publishing its seat prices: Hosted PBX at R49 per extension per month (Starter), R99 (Custom) adding call recording, analytics and Teams Direct Routing, and R149 (Enterprise) adding the omni-channel contact centre, with call rates published too – 25c a minute to landlines, 35c to mobiles, free on-net, billed per second, all ex VAT. It runs 24/7 support and states a 99.99% uptime commitment on the hosted PBX. It scores 7.5/10 in our review – features are its strongest dimension at 8.0; the tiers are marked indicative, SIP trunks and Teams routing are quoted, and its public review signal rests on a single Google listing at 4.5 across 36 reviews.

Strength: A 3CX phone system and contact centre delivered and supported by Kinetix Group, an office-technology business with more than twenty years of trading, four offices (Centurion, Fourways, Cape Town, Durban) and managed print, cybersecurity and networking from the same team – backed by the strongest public service record in this comparison, a 4.9-star Google listing across 52 reviews in which customers name the support staff.
Watch-out: Pricing is quote-based – no rate card at all, where Innovo at least publishes its seat tiers – and it publishes no uptime figure, running on an upstream carrier confirmed at quote, which is why its reliability dimension (6.4) is the lowest in this group.

Centracom – reliability and one carrier
Strength: The same one-supplier model as Innovo at carrier scale: Centracom is a Tier 1 voice carrier trading since 2008 that owns the network it sells, interconnects with the mobile networks itself, fails calls over between networks, and publishes a 99.9% uptime figure and a 4.3 out of 5 voice-quality score – with PBX seats that grow into a contact-centre tier on the same login and a 24/7 service desk with a separate after-hours number.
Watch-out: Pricing is quote-based, scoped over two or three rounds, so there is no published per-line rate to compare against Innovo’s R49 – and its public Google rating runs low on a pattern dominated by cold-call complaints from non-customers rather than service issues from clients.

Switch Telecom – the lowest full-stack cost
Strength: A published hosted switchboard at R260 per ten extensions a month with no installation fee and month-to-month terms – an effective R26 per extension, the lowest verified entry point in this group – on its own voice network, ICASA-licensed since 2007, with published call rates from 13c on-net, 24c national and 43c to mobiles, SIP trunks from R100 for four channels, and Microsoft Teams Direct Routing through its Cloud SBC. Nothing needs a quote to compare.
Watch-out: Voice only – Switch does not sell the fibre, microwave or 5G underneath, so a buyer leaving Innovo for the one-supplier model keeps a separate internet provider. The switchboard is sold in ten-extension blocks with the SIP trunk charged on top, and published support hours are business hours with weekend standby on the Business & Corporate SLA tiers rather than a 24/7 desk.

Innovo Networks earns its place on transparency and structure: a published R49 seat, published call rates billed per second, free on-net calling, and the connectivity its voice runs on sold by the same company with 24/7 support. Compare when one priority clearly outweighs that: the whole bill published rather than just the seat (Switch), carrier-owned reliability at scale (Centracom), or a corporate vendor with a national on-site footprint (Kinetix). If you do switch, your geographic and 087 numbers port between licensed providers for a small once-off fee.
