Who we are, and who is accountable for what we publish
WhichVoIP is an independent South African comparison site for business phone systems, VoIP, fibre, wireless and contact centre services. We are not a provider.
What is WhichVoIP?
WhichVoIP is an independent South African comparison site for business phone systems, VoIP, fibre, wireless and contact centre services. We review and score providers against a published rubric, we source every figure we print, and we match buyers to providers that fit their requirements. We are not a telecoms provider and we do not sell connectivity or phone systems.
Two things make a comparison site worth reading: you can check its numbers, and you can see who stands behind them.
This page covers the second. For what we do and do not do, how the money works and the common questions, start at the frequently asked questions. For the scoring method in full, including its limitations, see how we review.
What we cover
Business communications and connectivity in South Africa, in 6 categories.
Each category runs the same three layers: a guide explaining how the technology and the buying decision work, a comparison of scored providers, and a directory of everyone in the market.
Alongside those we publish original research where we can measure something nobody else has – for example a full count of what a live AI receptionist actually handled across three months of real inbound calls, rather than a vendor benchmark.
Who runs it
WhichVoIP is published by Telecoms Media Group (Pty) Ltd, a South African company.
Editorial responsibility sits with Mechelle Gindra, Editorial Lead. She owns the published scoring rubric, the review corpus and the sourcing standard that every published figure has to meet, and carries responsibility for corrections when something is wrong.
That accountability is the point of naming her. A comparison site where nobody is answerable for the numbers is a site whose numbers cannot be challenged.
Contact
Editorial and commercial enquiries are handled separately, deliberately.
Corrections, factual disputes and editorial questions go through the contact page. If a published fact about your company is wrong, send it with a source and we will verify it, update the underlying fact, recompute anything that depends on it and republish. That is free for every provider, whether or not you have any commercial relationship with us.
Sponsorship and advertising enquiries go to advertise with us. Keeping the two apart means a commercial conversation never runs through the same channel as a question about a score.
Start with what you are buying
Tell us what your business needs and we will match you with providers who can actually do it.
