Tell us what you need. We’ll pass your request to up to three South African suppliers that cover your area. Then you compare and choose. No pressure, and no cost to you.
“We compare providers, we don’t sell for them. Tell us what you need in plain words. You don’t have to know the jargon.”
No. At most three providers receive your request, and only if they cover your area and size.
No. A quote is just a quote. You can compare, ask questions and decide to stay where you are.

“WhichVoIP was able to connect me with reasonable suppliers within a few minutes who were able to assist me easily and speedily.”
When you compare quotes for VoIP phones, look beyond the per-unit price. The brand and model matter (a Yealink T31G is a very different phone from a Grandstream GRP2602), but so does what is bundled around it: provisioning to your PBX, the handset warranty, lead time to delivery, and whether the supplier supports the specific platform you are on (3CX, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone or a generic SIP PBX).
It is also worth asking about rental vs buy-outright pricing. Many South African suppliers will rent handsets bundled into your monthly extension cost, which spreads the CapEx but usually costs more over a 36-month contract.

It depends on the model and its features, such as a colour screen, busy-lamp buttons or Wi-Fi. Our VoIP phone comparison sets models side by side, and providers include handset options and prices in their quotes.
Buy outright if you have the cash and plan to keep the phones for 4+ years — it works out cheaper. Rent if you want zero CapEx, hardware refresh built in, or if you are on a short contract. Many SA providers bundle rental into the monthly per-extension fee.
Almost all modern SIP handsets work with most modern PBX platforms, including 3CX, Microsoft Teams (via SIP gateway), Zoom Phone, Yeastar, Grandstream and Asterisk-based systems. Mention your PBX in the requirements field and the supplier will confirm in writing.
Auto-provisioning lets your PBX push configuration to a handset as soon as it boots up, so you do not have to type SIP credentials into each phone manually. Most suppliers will provision the phones for you before they ship.
Yes. Mention what you need in the requirements field — wired headsets (Jabra, Plantronics/Poly), wireless DECT headsets, conference phones and cordless DECT systems are all supported by most of our suppliers.
