Tell us where you are and what you need. We’ll pass your request to up to three South African fibre providers that cover your area. Then you compare and choose. No pressure, and no cost to you.
“We compare providers, we don’t sell for them. Tell us what you need in plain words. You don’t have to know the jargon.”
No. At most three providers receive your request, and only if they cover your area and size.
No. A quote is just a quote. You can compare, ask questions and decide to stay where you are.

“WhichVoIP was able to connect me with reasonable suppliers within a few minutes who were able to assist me easily and speedily.”
A business fibre quote should always include the line speed (download and upload), whether the line is symmetrical or asymmetrical, the contract term, the once-off installation cost, and the SLA. Business fibre carries a much stronger SLA than home fibre — expect uptime guarantees, 4-hour fault response, and on-site support included as standard.
The two big variables are the underlying fibre network operator (Openserve, Vumatel Business, Frogfoot, Octotel, MetroFibre, Liquid, Dark Fibre Africa) and the ISP layered on top. The same ISP can deliver very different pricing and lead times depending on which network covers your building, which is why a coverage check has to come before any quote.

It depends on the speed, the fibre network at your address, the SLA and the contract term. Our business fibre comparison shows each provider's published prices, with the source and the date we checked them.
Business fibre is symmetrical (the same upload and download speed), comes with a stronger SLA (typically a 99.5%+ uptime guarantee and 4-hour fault response), supports static IPs, and is fully uncapped with no shaping or throttling. Home fibre is usually asymmetrical, has best-effort support and lower-priority fault response.
If your building is already on-net (the fibre is in the duct), installation can be 5–10 business days. New off-net builds where the network operator has to trench and lay fibre can take 30–90 days. We will get a clear lead time from each provider as part of their quote.
Yes — almost all business fibre packages in South Africa include at least one static public IPv4 address as standard, and additional IPs can usually be added for a small monthly fee. Mention any specific requirements (subnet size, IPv6) in the requirements field.
No. WhichVoIP is 100% free for businesses requesting fibre quotes. Providers pay us instead: either for each request they accept, or as a sponsored partner, which gives them priority when your needs match what they offer. You never pay us, and no provider can pay to change our scores. How we make money.
