Started in 2008 by Heinz Eiseberg (no longer with us) and Brendon Potter, Ka Rona Trading 594 cc was envisioned to house other brands that it acquired in the IT industry, namely RMS-Net (small dial-up Internet service) and Betternet (small GPRS-based Internet service), as well as to focus on the VoIP telephony market (as Voicecall VoIP Solutions) via a partnership agreement with DNS Telecom.

Member Brendon Potter has expertise that was honed as Regional Technical Director of Sourcecom Technology Solutions (Tecor Group) and Operations Manager of Ikamva Multimedia (which position he resigned in November 2008 to focus on Voicecall). These positions, as well as previous experience as a senior field-engineer with Choice Technologies doing desktop support for the SA Revenue Service, include managing the roll-out of the SA Dept of Transport's e-Natis computers in the Free-State and Northern-Cape provinces. Also with Ikamva Multimedia, he was responsible for the successful maintenance of other regional contracts supporting Live Scan Units (Dept of Transport) and PiT terminals (SA Post Office) whilst with that company.

Strategic alliances have been built up with a large number of SMME IT businesses throughout the country, which have now been brought together to supply a reliable countrywide network of ICT support technicians to service IT-related support contracts. This network is co-ordinated by Voicecall ICT Solutions in Bloemfontein.

Although we hold a VALID level 4 BEE contributor certificate we believe that any business should carry itself based on performance. This outlook does NOT make us anti-progress, but rather that we are confident in our ability to harnass small businesses for the purpose of servicing our clients, and at the same time, allowing them to grow the economy in their own communities.

To grow a reliable network of technology & people that are proud to put COMMUNICATION back into ICT, and to promote the growth of small businesses & economies in the Rainbow Nation.
